(TSXV:MSD) (“Moseda” or the “Company”), a technology company focused on developing progressive mobile health (mHealth) and telemedicine solutions for institutional and home healthcare, is pleased to announce that it has appointed industry expert Dr. Lisa Crossley, PhD., P.Eng. as CEO and Director and Mr. Sameet Kanade as President and Chairman of the Board as the Company aims to ramp up its client acquisition strategy. Dr. Crossley is an accomplished healthcare technology executive with a proven track record of successfully building and leading global tech companies. She has diverse experience across multiple market segments, including healthcare information technology, therapeutics, medical devices, life science tools and diagnostics. Most recently, Dr. Crossley was CEO of VitalHub Corp., a healthcare IT company that provides clinicians with secure mobile access to comprehensive patient health information. Her prior experience includes leadership positions as CEO of Quantum Dental Technologies and President & CEO of Natrix Separations. Dr. Crossley has raised over $35 Million in venture capital and angel financing, negotiated channel partner agreements with major multinational market leaders and built customer bases in North America, Europe and Asia. She holds a B.Sc. in Anatomy & Cell Biology from McGill University and a B.A.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. Dr. Crossley currently serves on the Genome Alberta Board of Directors and on the Mitacs Research Council. She has previously acted as a Board Director for the Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization (OBIO), Viron Therapeutics, Boyd Technologies, and Women in Science and Technology Businesses (WSTB) and has held numerous Advisory Board appointments. She was a member of the Council of Canadian Academies’ Expert Panel commissioned by Industry Canada to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the State of Industrial R&D in Canada. “I am excited to be joining the leadership team at Moseda and leveraging my relationships in the North American and International healthcare markets to add immediate value to Moseda’s business strategy.” said Dr. Crossley.

Sameet Kanade has been actively involved in the Canadian technology industry over the past 10 years having worked within equity research at several firms building upon his prior experience in the technology VC world. Over the past 2 years, he has advised and raised approximately $40 million for publicly listed technology companies and in excess of $100 million for two privately-held diversified companies in Canada and Europe. Prior to completing an MBA at the University of Toronto in 2006, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young for over 5 years with the assurance department on global mandates. Mr. Kanade is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His experience with valuation and in-depth macro and company specific analysis has been widely publicized within the US and Canadian media.
